A Peace Pole is a hand-crafted monument that displays the message and prayer May Peace Prevail on Earth. There are tens of thousands of Peace Poles in 180 countries all over the world. Last year, we embarked on a project to create our own Peace Poles. Through art class, each of our 500+ students helped design and paint our Peace Poles. Each grade, from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, worked on their own side of the three Peace Poles. The Peace Poles now have a home in front of the new building. They serve as constant reminders for us to visualize and pray for world peace.
