The Georgia Bulletin has published a story about the growing relationship between OLA and the Brookhaven police department via the Adopt-A-Cop ministry at OLA Parish. As a part of the program, each grade of OLA School has adopted a Brookhaven police officer. These classes pray for their officer daily and enjoy sharing letters and occasional visits. The Georgia Bulletin article highlights one such visit between Mrs. Berg’s fifth-grade class and Officer David Fikes and his K-9 Dano. You can find the full story here.
