Hearty Meals
Hearty Meals is a program designed to teach our children about giving back to those who are not as fortunate as we are by providing meals for those who do not have enough to eat every day.
How it works:
On the first Monday of each month the Spiritual Life Group distributes brown paper lunch bags to the students. Please have your child make a lunch for a person in need. Make anything you like (just no mayo, please)! If possible, try to make it healthy (whole wheat bread, lunch meat, fruit, etc.). You can even decorate the bag, if you wish. Have your child bring his/her HEARTY MEAL to school the next day. There will be Spiritual Life bins in the classroom for collection. Thank you!! You have done a wonderful thing for another person.
Meals will be delivered by Spiritual Life to the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Please contact us if you would like to help deliver the meals.
