Gifted Education Program — serves children in grades 3-8 in the areas of Math and Language Arts. Qualification for program placement is determined by standardized ability and achievement tests, work ethics, and grade point average. Our Lady of the Assumption School has a full time gifted education teacher.

Reading Support Program — is designed for students in grades K-2 who would benefit from small group instruction. There is a reading lab staffed with a reading teacher.

Student Assistance Program — resource teachers work with classroom teachers to meet student needs through a variety of techniques and accommodations, and to prescribe a program that meets each student's individual needs. There are three full time learning labs staffed by certified teachers.

School Counseling Program — provides counseling services including small group and individualized counseling, classroom guidance and drug education awareness. Classroom guidance includes stress control management, problem solving, and peer relations. The Counseling Department also works closely with New Student Orientation Program to help new students adjust smoothly to a new school. Our Lady of the Assumption School has two full time counselors to serve students.
