On Wednesday, October 18 Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School will hold its Seventh Annual Day of Service in which all students, staff, and an army of parent volunteers focus on serving others. The Georgia Bulletin has published a story about the growing relationship between OLA and the Brookhaven police department via the Adopt-A-Cop ministry at OLA Parish. As a part of the program, each grade of OLA School has adopted a Brookhaven police officer. These classes pray for their officer daily and enjoy sharing letters and occasional visits. [...]
This year Ms. Fannon joined our faculty as our new kindergarten teacher. Ms. Fannon also went to school at OLA. We were thrilled to find a photo of her kindergarten class in our archives.
