Even though Our Lady of the Assumption is a "Parish" school, students from a much larger region attend because of our central, and easily accessible location. Students come from as far away as Suwanne and Woodstock, however, the majority of our students come from Brookhaven, Buckhead, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Norcross, Duluth, Chamblee, Sandy Springs and Marietta.

Located in Northeast Atlanta near Oglethorpe University, our campus is convenient to two Catholic high schools: Marist (1.5 miles) and St. Pius (3.7 miles). Also nearby are major business centers such as Perimeter Business Center (2.5 miles), Buckhead/Lenox Square (3.3 miles), and Downtown Atlanta (9 miles). Just 2.7 miles away is a large medical complex comprised of Northside Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Scottish Rite Hospital and many professional and medical offices. Our location is also easily accessible from three major freeway systems: I-285, GA 400, and I-85.

From Peachtree Street —If traveling south on Peachtree Street, turn right onto Ashford Dunwoody Road. Turn left at the fourth street onto Humility Lane.

***In the second block, Humility Lane changes to Hearst Drive and becomes a one-way road that encircles the school and parish. The school is on the left. The circular driveway in front of the school has limited visitor parking. If none is available, continue around to the back of the school to the first driveway on the left. The church will be on the right as you enter the parking lot. Continue straight ahead and you will see the "School Office" entrance.

From I-285 — Exit #21 at Ashford Dunwoody Road. Turn South (inside the perimeter). Marist School (at 1.5 miles) will be on your right; shortly, Blackburn Park will be on your left. After passing Blackburn Park, get into the left lane as you approach the next traffic light. Immediately after the light, get into the right lane (watch for merging traffic on your right). At this intersection Ashford Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry Rd. merge for one block and then split at the next light. Bear to your right at the light that keeps you on Ashford Dunwoody. Turn right at the sixth street, which is Humility Lane. From this point proceed from the *** directions above.

From GA 400 South — Exit #3 at Glenridge Connector to Peachtree-Dunwoody Road. At end of exit ramp turn right onto Glenridge Connector. At the dead end, turn left onto Peachtree-Dunwoody Road. Turn right at the next traffic light onto Johnson Ferry Road. Stay in right lane, and merge onto Ashford Dunwoody at the next traffic light, and stay in the far right lane. At this intersection Ashford-Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry roads merge for one block and then fork at the next light. Bear to the right, which will keep you on Ashford Dunwoody. Turn right at the sixth street, Humility Lane. At this point proceed from the *** directions above.

From I-85 — Take exit #32 at Clairmont. Turn West (inside the perimeter). Continue for 3.7 miles until Clairmont dead-ends into Peachtree Industrial. Turn left onto Peachtree Industrial. Go 1.3 miles (four traffic lights) and turn right onto Ashford Dunwoody Road. Turn left at the fourth street onto Humility Lane. At this point proceed from the***directions above.
