Elementary - Intermediate Curriculum (Grades 3 thru 5)

Religion (Pre-K thru Grade 8)
Our Lady of the Assumption School follows a shared praxis methodology of (daily) religious education, which focuses on formation through Sacred Scripture, prayer, worship, common Catholic practices, and doctrine.

Preschool children follow a lectionary-based program that emphasizes Bible stories and weekly Mass themes. Students in Grades K - 8 use the Faith First textbook series from Resources for Christian Living. These age-appropriate texts are correlated to the Catechism of the Catholic Church and focus on the Catechism's four pillars, which are creed, prayer, liturgy, and morality.
