Accreditation

The Office of Catholic Schools has received district-wide accreditation through Cognia, the parent institution to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Archdiocesan-wide accreditation is focused on continuous improvement in the following areas:

  • Purpose and Direction
  • Governance and Leadership
  • Teaching and Assessing for Learning
  • Resources and Support Systems
  • Using Results for Continuous Improvement

Efforts aimed toward continuous improvement will include an emphasis on Catholic Identity using the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools.
